A stout, secure, accurate and reasonably shaped aluminum thumb ring. I’ll rate this one functionally the best yet, although v5 was the prettiest. The finish is a little rough and carelessness with the rotary burr left a divot inside the ring.
It is also cat tested and approved.
Note: I eventually opened (filed out) the guard area on this ring, greatly improving its functionality and stability. I have become quite opposed to full guards and now leave only a bit on the sides so that the string makes subtle contact with the thumb without inflicting pain. . .
