SERVICES SUMMARY
HavaHand is a one-person general assistance service based in Sarasota and Manatee counties. I help with practical, hands-on work around homes, properties, and small projects where flexible, capable help is more useful than a large contractor.
Work includes repairs, furniture assembly, moving assistance, cleanup, yard and property work, light demolition, transportation support, cleaning tasks, and a variety of small custom or unusual jobs.
If a task requires a licensed specialist or falls outside my abilities, I will say so directly. Otherwise, if it is something practical that needs doing, I can usually take a look.

SERVICES (Bradenton / Sarasota)
Hurricane Preparation & Cleanup: I help with storm preparation and post-storm cleanup during hurricane season. This includes securing property, basic preventative work, and assistance after storm events. If you’re unsure whether I can help with something, feel free to call and ask.
Furniture Assembly: I assemble desks, beds, tables, and similar furniture. I also handle simple modifications, minor alterations, and light refurbishing when needed.
REPAIRS & PROJECTS: Minor interior and exterior household repairs, including fences and general property fixes. I also take on small custom projects such as pet furniture and other simple custom builds.
GARDENING/LANDSCAPE/TREE TRIMMING: Manual weeding, pruning, hedging (generally no heavy or high-risk tree removal), planting, general yard work, fertilizing, and storm cleanup. I also handle small-scale tree trimming and removal for manageable heights and conditions.
Note: I do not perform large or hazardous tree work requiring specialized equipment or crews. For a Shrubbery, I refer you to Roger the Shrubber.
TRANSPORT: I hold an active Class A CDL with NPT endorsements and am experienced with both automatic and manual transmissions. If you have a vehicle that needs to be driven for transport or relocation, I can assist.
WINDOW CLEANING PLUS Interior and exterior window cleaning, gutters, roofs, driveways, attics, and other accessible areas (including work requiring up to a 22′ ladder). I handle a wide range of general cleaning tasks where practical access and safety allow.
General Labor: If it needs to be done and I can do it safely and correctly, I’m available for it. This includes moving items, light demolition, basic disassembly, and digging or site work when appropriate.
I particularly don’t mind demolition and teardown work when it fits the job.
MOVING: Small to medium moving jobs, storage cleanup, and item delivery. Larger jobs may require additional help with advance notice.
A truck (such as a U-Haul) is required and can be provided or rented as needed.
PAINTING: Interior and exterior painting, including single rooms, multiple rooms, whole units, and various objects or small structures. I use brushes and rollers only (no spraying).
All work is done to the customer’s standards, including careful edging, surface protection, and clean finishes. If a simpler, faster finish is preferred, that can also be accommodated.
TEMP WORK: For business owners needing reliable temporary help. If a job is accepted, work is completed to your specified standards with care and attention to detail.
Choose someone with references and a reputation for treating each job as their own.
VOLUNTEERING: When time permits, I may volunteer my time, tools, and skills for selected work, including assistance for those in financial need, conservation efforts, interesting projects, people who can teach me something new, and long-term repeat customers in urgent situations.
I’ve been dealing with significant health challenges since 2023, which has reinforced my belief that some of the most meaningful help in life is freely given. When I am able, I will help where I can.
MISCELLANEOUS: I have experience across a range of technical and practical areas, though not all are recent or equally developed.
I can perform TIG welding on steel and aluminum to a functional standard. I have an AS in Information Technology and have used Linux for over 15 years, with experience in system support, Android debugging, custom ROM flashing, data processing, AI assisted scripts and programs. I also operate various types of heavy equipment, including Bobcats, front-loaders, and tractors, and have worked in agricultural settings and although inactive, maintain a primary interest in Ag.
Earlier training includes graduation from Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. I have also done editing and writing work, and maintain an ongoing interest in both.
