T6061 Aluminum Thumb Ring
Not really V5. Rather a modified V4, which no longer exists. As forecast, it has a lip, groove or whatever. Contrary to forecasting, it is not a shallow hook. How does it shoot?

I don’t know how it shoots yet, or even how well it draws. While attempting to test it on the PVC bow, the bow snapped in half. Perhaps a symbol of its strength. Destroyer of bows? I hope not.
I have billets, and as mentioned, a bit more time than I’d prefer. Hopefully the best yet is soon to come.
NOTE: As aluminum thumb rings go, this did indeed end up being a fine shooting thumb ring, but not until it was modified. The continuous string guard was abandoned and opened in the center, allowing for string/thumb contact but without excessive pressure. If you make a ring, I recommend either no guard or an open guard.
