It’s October and pumpkins be plentiful. I always buy one every year if I can. Even when driving a truck in October, I’ve kept a small one on the dash or seat until I return, tired but not tired of my well-traveled squash if it survives the journey. This of course, has little to do with aliens or thumb rings. However, I do support pumpkin ownership, thumb-release archery, and casual (and in some case, more serious) interest in aliens.
So, I sculpted an alien (not Pumpkinhead) from walnut, made another cocobolo (shallow hook) thumb ring and used my pumpkin for contrast and supporting evidence of my veracity.
Happy Halloween!
