In June, on the 22nd of 2024, I looked up into to the bright daytime sky as I often do. It was around 08:00am. What caught my eyes was a pinpoint bright light resembling a planet or a star. I have spotted numerous seemingly identical or similar objects in the daytime sky over many years. Some of these UAP sightings were witnessed by others and some only by myself. On one occasion in the late 1990s, I spotted three similar objects. By “similar”, I must emphasize I mean to the unaided eye in this particular circumstance.
What the three unidentified objects did was definitely not something any balloon should do — and there were three. The objects were originally stationary, in a broken line formation. After viewing them for approximately 20 minutes, they began moving south-west. As they slowed, each object entered a triangular formation. This is where everything became more interesting, or extraordinary. But they would behave more oddly yet, by spiraling into what appeared a single point. This single point was momentary and could be possibly explained by multiple concepts, eg parallax. However, they then assumed their original broken line formation again and began moving east, slowly. The entire sighting lasted perhaps 45 minutes.
Other UAP sightings since have been less intriguing. The image below, of the object I spotted recently, is seen through digital zoom on a cellphone — a feature I’ve not had available for any previous experience. During the sighting of the three unidentified objects mentioned above, I did have a very cheap pair of 8×20’s, but the phenomena appeared no differently through them. As cheap as they were, I believe I would have been able to distinguish the characteristics of the presumed balloon below, but they seemed metallic if anything, and too far for any resolution. In other words, they weren’t balloons.
But this probably was a balloon:

It was exceedingly annoying and difficult, but I did manage to photograph the object using my phone’s camera stuck to one optical end of a pair of high quality 10×42 binoculars. It made too little difference to distinguish which of the many photos I took were which. Below is an either no zoom or low zoom image of the object, located a bit right of center and represents what I observed with the unaided eye:

The image below is another unzoomed photo and probably impossible for most to see the object within.

I watched this object for an hour and due to moving frequently and seeking witnesses, I am unsure of its direction and intensity of motion. I can only guesstimate it was moving slowly north-north-west. I was able to get one other person to see it through binoculars and we agreed it was most probably a strange balloon. Hopefully the next sighting will be more interesting, 90s style.
I should also mention, for those who’ve not had a UFO/UAP sighting and wonder why there aren’t more clear photographs of them; depending on the intensity of the sighting, the idea of taking photos is something that for me, occurs with a delay, where precedence is strongly toward just viewing the object at first. But there are many photos and videos too. One good resource is Jenined‘s youtube channel, where some fairly compelling footage can be seen. There’s also UnknownSkies, where this post was mentioned in one of the videos.

I’m sure this barroon was totarry not for spying.
