Services

Please note:

My equipment is limited to a station-wagon with racks and the tools/equipment that it can carry. Presently, I do not have a trailer to carry the types of equipment that would require one. Where such equipment is provided, I will gladly and respectfully use it, whether the customer’s or rental. For transport or moving jobs, a truck or appropriate vehicle will need to be rented, or provided if needed. For trees or quantities of debris from land-clearing, demolition, etc, hauling will need to be arranged if exceeding what the city or county will accept. Also note that: HavaHand cannot provide any services requiring a permit or special licensing (contractor, etc.), except for Class A/B CDL transport.

Miscellaneous…

Welding: Years ago, I passed an unofficial 6G test with TIG on steel pipe. Probably not fit for nuclear, but I can TIG both steel and aluminum for non-critical purposes. I’ve MIG welded and had fair results and even have an old machine, but don’t know how to properly configure or maintain it. I can run stick, but poorly. If you have the machine and something to weld, I’ll give it a go.

Heavy, or not-so-heavy Equipment: Bobcat, front-loader operation, with a reasonable level of competency.

Volunteering: I will volunteer my time, tools, knowledge and efforts, when time permits, to the following incomplete list: The significantly needy, disadvantaged or financially restricted. Conservation. Interesting projects. People who can teach me things.

Linux/Tech: Interested in Linux? Me too. With over a decade of experience in Linux, I’ve primarily settled in Debian, but have worked with Slackware, Arch and other distributions. I have an A.S. in IT, but am a bit rusty. However, I can often accomplish basic-to-intermediate tasks in Linux, Android (e.g. ADB Debug) and even Windows… when I have an iron stomach.

If something on this list is missing, feel free to ask.
